Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8th February, 2026

1. A quick overview

At Trip o’clock, your privacy and trust matter to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

It applies when you use our website (tripoclock.com), our mobile apps, and any features or services that link to this policy (together, the “Platform”). It doesn’t cover third‑party sites or services you might access through Trip o’clock.

If you ever have questions about this Privacy Policy, you can email us at [email protected].

2. Who we are

Trip o’clock is owned and operated by Mizormor Ltd, based in Ghana.

When we say “Trip o’clock”, “we”, “our” or “us” in this policy, we’re talking about Mizormor Ltd as the controller of your personal data for the Trip o’clock Platform.

3. The information we collect

We collect a few different types of information, depending on how you use Trip o’clock.

3.1 Information you share with us

When you interact with Trip o’clock, you may give us:

  • Account details: Full name, email address, country of residence, travel experience peferences and login identifiers (including Apple/Google sign‑in where used).
  • Profile details: profile photo, home city or country, preferred language or other optional info you choose to add.
  • Trip details: destinations, dates, activities, notes, photos, checklists, budgets and other trip content you create or store.
  • Communication content: messages you send to us (for support) or to other users in group trips or chats, where those features are available.

3.2 Information we collect automatically

When you browse or use the Platform, we automatically collect certain information to keep Trip o’clock running smoothly and to improve the experience:

  • Device and log data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, crash reports and basic system activity.
  • Usage data: pages and screens viewed, buttons clicked, how long you spend in the app, and general patterns of use.
  • Cookie and similar data: small files or technologies that help us remember your preferences, keep you logged in and understand how the site/app is used.

3.3 Information from partners and third parties

In some cases, we may receive limited information from:

  • Sign‑in providers (such as Apple or Google) when you choose to log in with them.
  • Analytics or marketing tools that help us understand app usage and the performance of our campaigns.
  • Payment providers, who share basic transaction metadata (like transaction ID, amount, currency and status) so we can confirm your purchase and handle support or fraud prevention.

3.4 eSIM and travel offers‑related information

When you use Trip o’clock to discover and purchase offers like eSIM data plans, insurance or other partner services, we may collect:

  • Which offer you viewed or bought (e.g., specific eSIM plan, destination, price).
  • Basic technical or usage metadata needed to help you manage the product inside Trip o’clock or to support you if you contact us.
  • Limited information we share with partners (see section 6) so they can provide the service.

We do not run the telecom network or underwrite insurance ourselves, so some data is handled directly by partners under their own privacy policies.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for a few main reasons, all focused on making Trip o’clock work well and improving it over time.

4.1 To run Trip o’clock

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Let you plan trips, invite friends, share details and keep everything organised.
  • Deliver features like group chat, checklists, expense tracking and destination suggestions.

4.2 To improve the travel experience

We analyse how people use Trip o’clock to understand what’s working and what isn’t. This helps us:

  • Fix bugs and keep the Platform secure and stable.
  • Develop new features, improve recommendations and refine the overall experience.
  • Personalise some parts of the app, for example by highlighting destinations or offers that are more relevant for you.

4.3 To communicate with you

We may use your information to:

  • Respond to your support requests and help you with any issues.
  • Send you important updates about Trip o’clock, such as changes to our policies or new features.
  • With your permission, send you marketing emails about Trip o’clock and our partners’ offers. You can opt out of these at any time.

4.4 To process payments and orders

When you buy something through Trip o’clock, we use your information to:

  • Confirm and record your purchase (for example, a tour, insurance, or eSIM data plan).
  • Work with payment providers to handle payments, refunds and fraud checks.
  • Provide you and relevant partners with the details needed to deliver what you purchased.

4.5 To keep things safe and legal

We may use your information to:

  • Monitor for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Protect the security of our systems, users and partners.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

5. Legal bases for using your data (EEA/UK users)

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on a few legal bases to process your personal data, including:

  • Contract: where processing is needed to provide the services you’ve asked for (like running your account and handling your bookings).
  • Legitimate interests: such as improving Trip o’clock, keeping it secure and understanding how it’s used, as long as these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: for certain activities like some types of cookies or marketing communications, where local law requires it.
  • Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with the law, for example tax or regulatory requirements.

6. How we share your information

We don’t sell your personal data. We do share it in some situations so that Trip o’clock can work as intended.

6.1 Service providers

We work with trusted service providers who help us run Trip o’clock, such as:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers.
  • Analytics tools.
  • Customer support tools.
  • Payment processors.

These providers only process your data on our instructions and are contractually required to keep it secure.

6.2 Travel and offer partners (including eSIMs)

When you interact with partner offers through Trip o’clock – for example, booking tours, buying insurance or purchasing eSIM data plans – we may share limited information with the relevant partner so they can deliver the service.

For eSIMs with Airalo in particular:

  • Trip o’clock and Airalo act as independent controllers of your personal data.
  • We may share your country or region (for tax or eligibility reasons), the plan you purchased and relevant technical or support‑related information.
  • Airalo processes your data under their own terms and privacy policy, which you should review when you use their service.

For other offers (like insurance or tours), we may share:

  • The fact that you viewed or purchased an offer.
  • Basic data needed to identify your booking or policy, so the partner can fulfil it and provide support.

6.3 Legal and safety reasons

We may share information where we reasonably believe it’s necessary to:

  • Meet a legal obligation or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
  • Protect the rights, safety and property of you, other users, partners or Trip o’clock.
  • Detect, prevent or address fraud, abuse or security issues.

6.4 Business transfers

If we’re ever involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of business assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal, in line with this Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Like most websites and apps, we use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
  • Understand how the Platform is used and improve it.
  • Personalise content and offers.

You can usually control cookies through your browser or device settings. Turning some cookies off may affect how certain parts of the Platform work.

We improve our products and advertising by using Microsoft Clarity to see how you use the platform. By using our site, you agree that we and Microsoft can collect and use this data.

8. International transfers

Trip o’clock is based in Ghana, and some of our service providers and partners may be located in other countries. This means your information may be transferred and processed outside of your home country.

When we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to help ensure it has an appropriate level of protection, for example through contractual safeguards where required by law.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or allowed by law.

In practice, this usually means:

  • We keep your account information as long as your account is active.
  • We retain trip data and communication content for a reasonable period after you delete your account, in case you change your mind or need it for support.
  • We keep certain information for longer periods if needed for legal, regulatory, tax or security reasons.
  • When we no longer need your information, we will delete it or anonymise it.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal data.

10.1 Access, correction and deletion

You may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.

10.2 Restriction and objection

In some cases, you may:

  • Ask us to temporarily limit how we use your data.
  • Object to certain types of processing, for example where we rely on legitimate interests, if you feel our interests do not outweigh your rights.

10.3 Data portability

Where applicable, you may ask us to provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine‑readable format, or to transfer it to another provider, where technically feasible.

10.4 Marketing and cookies

You can:

  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or changing your settings.
  • Adjust your browser or device settings to control cookies and similar technologies.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

If you’re in the EEA or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may also have the right to raise a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Children’s privacy

Trip o’clock is not designed for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we’ll do our best to quickly remove it from our records.

Where a child uses Trip o’clock with the help of a parent or guardian, that adult is responsible for how the child uses the Platform and shares information.

12. Third‑party links and services

Trip o’clock may link to third‑party websites, apps or services (for example, partner offers, booking pages or eSIM providers like Airalo).

Those third parties have their own privacy policies and terms, which we encourage you to read. We’re not responsible for how those third parties handle your information once you leave the Trip o’clock Platform or interact directly with them.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we work or in the laws that apply.

When we make changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and we may also provide extra notice in the app or by email for more significant updates.

If you keep using Trip o’clock after the updated policy takes effect, we’ll take that as your acceptance of the changes.

14. How to contact us

Should you have questions, requests or feedback about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, you can contact us at:

We’ll do our best to get back to you within a reasonable time.
